Aloha,

 The recent Veterans Movement “Vet Aid 2015” was a resounding success and we’d like to thank you for your support and participation.

Our primary objective with The Veterans Movement is to help our veterans and active duty military and their families. On Saturday, May 23 at The Oahu Veterans Center, hundreds of veterans, staff, advocates and volunteers converged to receive guidance, assistance, inspiration and opportunity from those who truly care about the veteran’s experience. Representatives from the DAV, VFW, American Legion, US VETS, The VA Mobile Vet Center and Veterans United Home Loans of Hawaii offered their expertise assisting those who truly needed a helping hand. There were so many touching stories regarding our veterans and their life experiences. 

Importantly, there were so many veterans who had their benefit issues addressed and, in most cases, resolved. Plus, right after our live broadcast of “The Veterans Movement Radio Program”, Tony Dias of Veterans United Home Loans presented a free informational seminar focusing on the Veterans Home Loan Benefit, a key component in a veteran’s financial future. 

 

Again, mahalo nui you those who supported “Vet Aid 2015” and we’re looking forward to “Vet Aid 2016!”
